Axonvale Terms of Use
These Terms of Use are provided in English as the authoritative version.
These Terms govern your use of websites, software, and digital products offered under the Axonvale brand (together, the "Services"). By accessing or purchasing the Services, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. Refunds for paid purchases are covered in section 5 below.
1. The Services
Axonvale publishes software for everyday use and enterprise deployments, including browser extensions and other products listed on this site. Product pages describe features, requirements, and any paid upgrades. Free components may still require third-party services that you configure and pay for separately (for example, your own API keys).
2. Accounts and licenses
Some products unlock paid features with a license key after purchase. License keys are personal to you, may be limited to a stated number of devices, and must not be shared, resold, or publicly posted. We may suspend or revoke a key for fraud, chargeback abuse, or material breach of these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
- Do not misuse the Services to violate law or third-party rights.
- Do not attempt to bypass license, device, or security controls.
- Do not reverse engineer products except where mandatory law allows.
- Do not use the Services to distribute malware or unauthorized mass surveillance tooling beyond what an enterprise customer lawfully deploys in its own environment.
4. Payments and Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides customer service inquiries and handles returns for purchases processed through Paddle.
Prices shown on product pages are before applicable taxes. Paddle calculates and collects tax where required, issues invoices and receipts, and processes refunds under its buyer terms together with the refund terms in section 5. For order, invoice, or refund help you may also use paddle.net.
5. Refunds (14-day money-back)
This section applies to self-serve paid digital products and upgrades sold through Axonvale websites. It works together with Paddle's buyer terms, because Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for our online orders. Enterprise or privately quoted deployments are not covered by this self-serve guarantee; those sales follow their own contract or order terms.
If you are not satisfied with a qualifying purchase, you may request a full refund within 14 days of the order completion date. You do not need to provide a reason. After 14 days, refunds are considered case by case (for example, if the product could not be activated due to a fault on our side).
How to request a refund:
- Email support@axonvale.com from the address used at checkout and include your order receipt or Paddle transaction details.
- Or open paddle.net, use the receipt / manage subscription link in your confirmation email, and choose Request refund.
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible, typically within 14 days of approval, subject to Paddle's processing times. When a purchase that issued a license key is refunded or charged back, that key may be revoked and Pro features unlocked by it will stop working.
This refund section does not cover:
- Charges from third-party providers you configure yourself (for example, your own API usage).
- Chrome Web Store or other marketplace fees unrelated to an Axonvale / Paddle checkout.
- Enterprise deployments sold under a separate contract (those agreements govern refunds).
Please contact us or Paddle before filing a chargeback. We would rather resolve the issue directly. Unresolved or abusive chargebacks may lead to license revocation.
We may refuse further purchases or additional refunds, and may suspend or revoke licenses, where we reasonably detect fraud, payment abuse, or repeated refund patterns intended to obtain unpaid use of the Services. This does not limit a qualifying first-time refund within the 14-day period.
6. Intellectual property
Axonvale and its licensors own the Services, branding, and related materials. You receive a limited, non-exclusive license to use purchased or free software as described on the product page and in-product documentation. Feedback you send may be used to improve the Services without obligation to you.
7. Disclaimers
The Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party APIs, stores, and networks are outside our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Axonvale is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability for a claim relating to a paid purchase is limited to the amount you paid for that purchase in the twelve months before the claim.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms when products or legal requirements change. The "Last updated" date above will change accordingly. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms for subsequent use and purchases.
